making cupcakes ...

today i decided to have a go at making 'pretty cupcakes for the kids' smoko {morning tea for all the non-Australian readers ;-)}

isn't it amazing how cute things look with a little help from the 'sugar decoration department' at your local grocery store ???

... by the way, they were delicious!!

~ nothing like home made cakes to keep the kids happy ~

my busy week ...

so ... here's a bit of what we got up to last week ...

swimming lessons ...

... catch up on Vogue at the hairdresser !

... got to see my drawing of the gondolas in Venice at the Exhibition ...

.. time out at our 'room with a view'

... more time out ...

... waiting for the nice men to fix my windscreen ... ho hum ...

... took the kids shopping ... a LOT ... and they just LOVE escalators ...

... managed to get a few good presents ...

... also very importantly ... got to have a quiet cuppa ...

... and of course stopped at Kronosaurus Corner in Richmond on the way home on our 10 hour drive!!!

~  can't wait to start creating for my Etsy store again !  ~

packing ...

... i have organized to be away next week ... swimming lessons ... appointments ... Christmas shopping ... and most importantly, a haircut!

something i am very bad at is (and hate doing) is packing ... but what i've found i'm very good at is procrastinating!  seems to take me forever to work out what i'll be wearing for the week, but then there's our 4 little darlings i need to pack for as well!   groan... i wonder how many Ben 10 toys, chemistry sets, fairy wings and colouring in books will need to be taken on this road trip???

... see you in a week ... x

it's almost like collecting recipes ... and i know full well, that all the pins on my 'virtual projects board' are most likely never going to see the light of day ... oh well, it's somehow relaxing, so i'm showing you my faves this week ...
